Our designs are unique and creative which involves maximum usage of the basement area which complies with the Ontario Building Code (OBC). We make sure your second dwelling unit is in compliance with the OBC and has necessary code requirements met such as egress window, separate entrance, fire separation around the stairs, fire rated door, sprinklers in the furnace room etc. Our team has garnered an extensive knowledge of basement designs with different municipalities and is also aware about the parking requirements for such cities as different municipalities have different parking requirements for second dwelling units.
